Who We Are
Our PTA supports Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) Manhattan, a unique educational institution that offers New York City public school students an unparalleled opportunity. Through a partnership between Bard College and the New York City Department of Education, students can earn both a high school Regents diploma and an Associate's Degree in just four years—at no cost to students or families.

Our Mission
Fundraising for our public school to provide highly motivated young adults from across New York City with a rigorous, college-level education that fosters intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.

What Makes BHSEC Special

BHSEC Manhattan is committed to serving a diverse student body that reflects our Lower East Side neighborhood and the city we call home. Notably, 52% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, highlighting our dedication to providing exceptional educational opportunities to students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.

Current Needs
The PTA at BHSEC Manhattan is facing a critical $50,000 deficit due to lower donations and expired grants. This shortfall threatens key programs that enrich our students' educational experience, including:
